Story of KL Tower (part-2)

On the top of KL Tower, there is a fantastic restaurant. When you have a lunch or dinner there, you might be felt that you are in the sky. You can see a city view during having food.

It is a buffet restaurant where have many types of dishes such as a noddles, salad, and a dessert which is very colourful and various. you can select food what you like.
Most of food is a traditional malaysian food. so it is a good to know about food culture of malaysia. Don't be afraid of malaysian food that taste is nice~~.
However it is a little expensive,I think. Perhaps a restaurant is located high floor. And there is a dress code. For examples men do not allow short pants and women do not allow sleeveless shirt as well and so on.
Anyway, it is not that harsh, don't worry~~ Just enjoy a food.
I give you an advise, a restaurant is better for dinner since ,you know that, city view of KL is different at night. It is a fantastic. I guess, if you are a couple then you should do a reservation for dinner for your partner. It will be a very romantic. I think, a place give you a good memory.

Story of KL Tower (part-1)

If you travel in Kuala Lumpur , you can see KL Tower anywhere.
It arouse a curiosity to me.
I guess that KL Tower is one of a symbol of malaysia like Eiffel Tower in Paris.
It is a very high about 420 meters and telecommunications and broadcating tower.

It is on a hill. so If you want to go there by feet, it will be hard since the weater is hot. Don't forget that here is the equatorial region.
However, you might be felt fresh from the forest during walking.
An observation deck in KL tower is higer than Petronas's because it is located on the hill. So you can see the view of KL widely even though KL tower has a enterence fee. so you will be never a regret.
KL Tower commands a fine panorama of the city below. and you should take pictures.
My country has a Tower called Nam_San Tower(or N Tower) which look alike KL Tower. That is also located on a hill and it is a telecommunications and broadcating tower.
Beside, there is a restaurant on the top of Nam_San Tower which also look alike KL Tower. So, when I first saw KL Tower, I had a little suprised, because it was twin.
Anyway, I will tell you more story about KL tower.
there is also shops and fast-food restaurant and so on. I give you a tip, you have to chance to know about KL tower more with a tape record. moreover there is a free suttle bus. you do not miss them~~

Many people consider that 'Which country do I go for enjoying new year?' 'Thailand, Singapore or Malaysia??'
This time, you should come to Malaysia.
Malaysia has a one of the hightest building called KLCC Suria where the nice new year eve's countdown show is held.
Beside around KLCC Suria, there are nice pub and bar. you can enjoy there.
Also, You can meet many tourists and local people on 31 of December in KLCC.
Every new year, they have a nice new year show is held in Malaysia. They let off fireworks and entertainers come.
Of course, other area , such as Bukit Bintang or other big mall in triangle area, have a show for countdown.
Many popular singers come to sing to push a happy mode. Most of singer who I don't know but music rejoiced my heart.
After finish the countdown, there are splendor firework. they let off firework many times. Which is very colourful and various shape in the sky.
And people bring snow spray. They are spraying other people even they don't know.
It is so funny. Everybody are happy.

Enjoy Christmas in Malaysia~

Chrismas remind me that snow on trees and cold and freezing weather. and I have to wear clothes thickly.
However, you can enjoy christmas in Malaysia as well.
Here is different that I thought. If you want to get a feeling christmas then you are required to go to Mall.
Eventhough wheather is hot and sunny, feeling is cold in the malls. but no need to clothes thicky. just wearing a short T-shirt with cardigan and sandals....
We cannot see snow in the city. But you can see snow inside Mall.:)
Every Mall decorated a big christmas tree with beautiful and colourful ball and angels...

Most of shopping mall had a event during the christmas season. For examlple, a musical actor/actress acted a play for children. Another mall bring nice musicians who blew a trumpet. I really enjoyed with them. I love music!!
However, I rarely do listen to carol song, I'm not sure, maybe ,because here is islamic country.
Anyway, It is an unique experience to spend chrismas seaon in tropical area.

Let's go shopping MegaMall

Megamall is not that far from KLCC. You just take a bus or train.
But, around Megamall there is always a traffic jam. So, I think, taking KTM is the best choice. The station name is MidValley. And lots of people take off that station.
The bridge connectes between KTM station and Megamall.

MegaMall is really big as the name of mega. There is hundred of shops and cinema, exhibition center and so on.
Lots of fair helds in exhibition center such as education fair, wedding fair or IT fair and so on. That is a good chance to compare products and information what you want.
They are running shutter bus from bangsar area to the mall.
And there is another shopping mall just next to MegaMallcalled Garden.
Therefore, that place is best place for shopping.
One thing I like there, because of a pet shop. I can't see many pet shop in malaysia. The pet shop has some animals as well like dogs, cats, and birds, rabbits etc..
Many people visit it to look around animals they are playing or sleeping...
It's so cute. :)
If you have a time, you visit there~ It is on the top floor on MegaMall near the exhibition center.

Going to the movies with friends(TGV KLCC)

If you are a movie fan, you will never stop watching movies even in overseas country.
Malaysia has cinemas in the Malls such as Mega Mall, Suria, or Pavillion etc...
Today, I'll tell the story about TGV that is in KLCC Surial Mall.
It is the second floor and on weekends, holiday or school holiday you can see the many people are waiting for buying a tickets.
So if you have a time, you'd better go to the morning and weekdays. :D
I felt cold when I watched a film in the cinema in malaysia as a aircondition is very strong. So, you're required to bring the jacket.
I heard that I can book a movies ticket on the Internet. But you know that I'm foreginer, so I don't know which site is good or bad.
Anyway,
I think, this place is good to date and hanging around friends. There is a food corner near the cinema. and there is a beautiful park and you can see the foundation is playing outside cinema. Isn't it the nice place?

Playing golf in Royal Selangor Golf Club

Royal Selangor Club is one of the oldeset golf club in Malaysia.
It established in 1884. Wow~ that has a long history.
The club was built by the British and it was used to a social club for upper class.
This club is very famous and popular among golfers. It existed on a hundred golf course list in the world.
Moreover the club is located in KL. that is very convience area to move another place.
Also golfers can see the KL Twin Tower during the playing glof. If someone with you who do not want to play golf then they can go out and see KL easily.
You can go to KLCC at night as well such as having dinner and drinking.

Most of course is designed on the flatland and there is many trees and small lakes.
Many tree protectes a traffic nose. It makes that golfers concentrated on playing golf.
This beautiful golf club was unfortunately subjected to flood many times since Malaysia is a one of the tropical area.
Anyway it is a still good place to improve of golf skill.

Story of a National Monument (Tugu Negara)

Many nations has a sorrowful story. Malaysia also has a story during World War II and the Malayan Emergency.
A National Monument is a Tugu Negara in malay and was built in 1966.
It is designed by Felix de Weldo who is a famous sculptor from Austria.
It is a historical bronze sculpture that commemorates the soldiers. They passed away struggle for freedom in Malaysia.
The height of bronze sculpture is 15.54 meter and there are seven soldiers.
A solder is holding a Malaysia flag to the sky. And a sculpture reveals leadership, suffering, unity, vigilance, strength, courage, and sacrifice.
Every year on the Heroes Day that is on 31 July, many politician and people pay repects to them.
I saw some of local family was spending a their day. They seemed that talked the story about how they are courageous people to their child.

Let's visit malaysia tourism center at KLCC

When you are travelling other country, sometimes you might face difficulties.
Or sometimes, your guide book you have brought does not have accurte informations.
Or sometimes, you really needs a map or public transportation information or popular restarurant information as a local person knows.
If you faces that time, you have to go to the MTC. Which is stand for malaysia tourism center where you can get any information of malaysia.
Then your troubles will be gone~~

The building is not that far from KLCC Suria Mall. It is located in around between KLCC and KL Tower. You might walk past there. so look carefully~~
The building was built in 1935 and the exterior of the building is a unique with beautiful garden.
And also there is a restaurant, a souvenir shop and a museum.
I give you one tip, if you apply to use internet at information dest. Then you can use internet as free of charge for 20minutes under cool aircondition.
It is very nice~~

Studying science at Planetarium Negara (part-2)

Let's go to inside a National Planetarium Negara. What is in there??
An observatory is in the National Planetarium Negara and you ride an elevator on to top.
And then there is something big~~
There is a 14 inch telescope to make observations of all space In the observatory.
It was very interesting.
Many students group had been already there to study something. They seemed to look serious.
This planetarium has a space theater and shows the space.
And there is also space science exhibit. so visitors can see a spaceman/spacewoman and a rocket.

I heard that there is an egnine , it is a Arianne IV space engine. That is special because it is one of the engine that was used to launch MEASAT 1 Malaysia's first staelite.
You can take some pictures with them. I saw many visitors enjoyed taking pictures with them.

Studying science at Planetarium Negara (part-1)

The national planetarium is called Planetarium Negara in Malay and established on 7 Febuary 1994 by the former prime minister.
It is located in on top of KL Lake Garden. If you want to visit there, you should take by hiring taxis, boarding trains or buses.
This place is good for students education to learn about space or star.
However, if you desire to visit there, you need to get over the stairs.:)
There is many staris waiting for me. I heard that is just small overbridge but it is not~~~ I guess it is good for my diet. :D

Anyway.. you walk up along the stair then finally, you can see a blue domed structure. It reminde me sky. As soon as I saw blue dome , I felt cool. It was very nice and pretty!!

The enterence fee is one ringgit.
Some chidern are interesting in space and star~. when I was young, my parenets told me story about star. It was a just story, but it is a happy memory of my life.
I recommend that parents should go there with their childern and show them about space. In the future, maybe your children would be a best science in the world. who knows? At that time they would be thanksful to their parents.

Going to KLCC Aquaria with childern

Many country has a aquarium and childern like to see many fishes. That is a good experience for childern learning about sea and fishes naturally.
Malaysia also has a aquarium, that is called aquaria, under the KLCC exhibition center. So it is easy to get there with family.
The path of underground is connected bwteen Suria and aquaria. So you go to basement in Suria then you can see the KFC near the KFC there is a sign to go aquaria. It is like a tunnel. you just follow that sign then you can arrive the aquaria.

The aquaria starts at 11am to 8pm, but admission is allowed until 7pm.
You can see the many fishes , sharks and reptiles such as a lizard in aquaria.
Most of childern seems to look very interesting and curious.
One of most interesting fish is red lionfish that looks very elegance. I wish that I want to meet red lionfish in the ocean. Sea around malaysia has estremly diverse fishes.

Aquaria also made like a tunnel so you feel like walking inside ocean. Especially, children love that path. Sometime you can see a scene that a diver feeds fishes.

Enjoy at the Time Square (part -2)

A guide book for foreginers traveling malaysia strongly says that goes to theme park at Time Square. The theme park is called Cosmos World.
Many people go to Time Square because of theme park. It is a indoor place.
Weather is like Malaysia is better to play inside since there are cool aircondition, and no need to worry about heavy rain.
The ride price is low in weekday(Monday to Friday). Of course weekends, public holiday and school holiday are higher than weekends. I think that this rule is the same all over the country.:D

Staff makes the ticket like a bracelet. so you will never lost it. The ticket allows you to take all ride in theme park.

There is various type of rides. So you can selete what you want. One of the scare thing is train ride. That make my heart palpitates.
The train ride makes me feeling nervous when the ride go down quickly. And people can see people screamed even outside of theme park as well.
I can see many local family and childern are enjoying there, it makes me also happier just to see that family.

Enjoy at the Time Square (part-1)

Time Square is not only America but also Malaysia. Time Square in KL is not street as America. It is a building Where is include hotel, shopping mall and theme park.
The building is consist of two with light brown colour.
I heard that building is owned by Berjaya group that is one of big company in Malaysia.
Transportation is convience to get there. Most common and easy way is taking Monorail. Take off at Imbi station. The bridge is connected between Timesquare and Monorail. so, do not worry about rain or hot weather. :)

The building is highter than other in that area. Many shop and restarurant are in.
Moreover there is a cinema so you can watch the malaysia movie as well.
And you can see many local family and young people hang around.
Sometime event from company is held the place for an advertising company's products.

Staying in KL during National holiday

Malaysia ,as you know, is islam country. One of the national holiday in malaysia is called Hari Raya.
I heard that during the Hari Raya muslim people do not eat food for the day.
So I have something curious. If some national sports players play the game during the Ramadhan, should they do the starvation at that time?
Because I'm so new about Islam relition and culture so my imagine can go anywhere at this moment.
And one of my friedns told me this rule.
There are some exception case here.
Especially children, youngsters, pregnent women, and elders cannot keep the starvation and I think it's so reasonable..
And if some people have special case like taking long trip, they can get discharge from their responsibilities and they will supplement later.
Yes. Here they are.
I think that there are consideration in any religion.
GDO bless us anytime and anywhere so give generisity to people who are in serious troubles.
This one month starvation period give muslim people perseverance and patience and it makes them more improved and developed.
After Ramadhan, finally Hari Raya will come.
This festival and celevration can keep around one month.
I know it's just 2~3days in Malaysia but most company and department of government give about 1 week to them.
It's like huge party in here.
During the Ramadhan period, especially in the afternoon, the city is inactive and the market is slack.
But now Hari Raya is started, everything is different, you know what?, you should join this celevtration party.

And at the first day, usually men put on the Baju Melayu, and women have on the Baju Kurung which are traditional cloths in Malaysia.
And they go to the Mosque to pray.
I just heard that this day and Hari Ray Haji can allow women to enter to mosque to pray.
I'm so feeling sorry for women only to go there two times a year.
Because I guess they also want to go there often.
But rule is the rule~~
I just hope that..... cheer up women~~

And there is the open house.
Every muslim people open their house to poors..
They give and offer some food and enjoy their generisity for around 3 days.
But some open the house for about 1 month.

All right.
I think it's enough to explain Ramadhan and Hari Raya.
If you are in this period, please don't be surprised at this unique culture.
And I know there are some special Ramadhan sale or beffet for Ramadhan.
So we can enjoy this exotic culture in here.
And try this special Ramadhan food~~

station at KL sentral

If you have a chance to take train or subway.
KL sentral station is core of trains. Because most of trains are in that station.
so you can easily change another train, even Monorail.
There are always a large crowd. so sometime I need to place to take a breath.
Fortunately, KL sentral the place has many shops and restaurant.
One of restaurant is that huge cafe chain 'Secret Recipe'.
So I visited there and grab some bites~~
I already knew this cafe is Malaysian company~~
And the cake which is sold here is really awesome~~

I love the interior here
very clean and simple with vivid color~~
In addition, the cups and glasses are great~~

If you check this menu, you can feel like here is so neat and cool~~
Especially, there is a set menu which are so reasonable price and can enjoy nice meal~~ But most of all, the cake is the best one~~
I saw many people drop by this cafe to purchase the cake~~
Each one is very creamy and soft..
I really recomman cheese cakes here~~
My mouth is watering now :)

Anyway, I was surprised at this cafe is Malaysian brand.
And I guess they have been trying to find special and outstanding taste which most people can enjoy without any resistance~~
I hope this cafe will be international and global more and more~~

Buy electronic stuff in Lowyat plaza

The Lowyat is located near Bukit Bintang. If you want to go there, you should take Monorail and take off at Imbi station. Usually, many people take off that station, so you might be notice that there are something special.
You are required to walk because Lowyat plaze is not the very close at Imbi station. It is near the Time Square.

Lowyat Plaza is the best place where you go to buy a electronic or computer stuff or mobile and so on. You can compare the price then buy the resonable price.
There is also many people, so sometimes you feel very tired and even cannot see the product carefully. Therfore if you need to purchase something, you'd better to go a weekday.
Most of shop is small but some of shops are large such as VAIO etc.
After you finish shopping or feel tired or thirst, then you go to food court. There are many shops selling various food. You can choose what you want.

Going to Bukit Bintang (part-2)

There is many fancy restaurnts in Bukit Bintang. But there is also many local restaurants in that area. Even though some local restaurants do not have aircondition and good interior, weather in night is not as hot as the day. So there is no problem eating outside.
Also it was fun to see people from all over the countries on the street. And one thing more nice to eat outside, thoes are usually cheeper than restaturant in shopping mall. Beside restaurants have various menu I can chooes and ingredients are fresh such as fish, shrimp and crab etc.
Satay is one of my favorite Malaysia food.
Various fruits grow in Malaysia. so you would see the many type of drink on the menu.
But the problem is that usually foreigners do not know which one is nice.

Look at the couple, they might be also looking for a nice restaurnat.
sometime I selected the restaurant when I saw there are many customers ,if I don't have any information. :)

Going to Bukit Bintang (part- 1)

Bukit Bintang is in the golden triangle in Kuala Lumpur. so It is a traffic jam area. If you want to avoid traffic jam then you'd better to take Monorail.
, interesting and fun. when I saw Monorail at first, I think it is very cute.
Airconditon in the Monorail is very nice so, sometimes you feel very cold even in the equatorial region. I recommed that you would better to bring your jacket if you do not want to have a cold. Also I can see the Monorail's driver in the Monorail because there are a transparent glass door between a driver and a passenger.
Anyway, you should get off Monorail at Bukit Bintang station.
I think the street of Bukit Bingtang is for a youth. Sometimes you can see young people are dancing in the street. And there are many foreginers as well.
Also there are many fency restaurnts , pub and shopping mall and so on.
Beside night and day are very different in Bukit Bintang area.

If you are lucky then you can get a chance to listen to nice music from street musician.

The National Theater (Istana Budaya -part2)

After you watched a good play or concert, you might be hungry.
There is a nice restaurat in Istana Budaya. Most of dishes are traditional Malaysian food. Many customers are in the restaruant. I think that is a good experience to eat Malaysian food for foreigners.
The system is like buffet. People pick up a dish and go around to select food what you want to eat. Then go to the counter for calculation. Also you can go to another section to order drinks.

Most ingredients in that restaurant are fish, chicken and vegetable.
And also there are a food that is like rice cakes. Its taste is very familier for me.
Inside a jar is included a special sources. The source you select uses to spread on the vegetables. I guess, that is a salad.

The restaurant has a nice terrace. So, whenever the weather is nice, you can eat outside as the garden is very nice.

The National Theatere (Istana Budaya - part 1)

I love going to the theater. It makes me more sensitive. So, if you go there, you can get a deep impression as they are amazing musicians.
Tha National Theater is Istana Budaya where is called palace of culture.
This is established in 1999. The location is next to National ArtGallery.
There have pereformed a various play ,consert , ballet and international musical and so on. Also the National Symphony Orchestra, the National Choir, the National Youth Choir etc. do perform either.
The exterior of the building is fine. Beside the main enternece is also very unique design. The design is based on a traditional moon kite in flight

Dress code is required formal wear such as business suit or long sleeved shirt.
You can purchase tickets at the box office counter from Mondays to Fridays.
Also the nice thing is that there are many car park and it is also free of charge.

Going to Istana Negara

That symbol below a picture that is the Coat of Arms of Malaysia and can see the entire area around Istana Negara. That is put on the fences up.
The sysmbol has a meaning. A 14-pointed star that shows the equal status of the 13 states and their unity with the federal government.
The Star and the Crescent between the tigers is a the traditional symbols of Islam.
And two tigers on either side are retained from the earlier armorial ensign of the Federation of Malaysia and the scroll below the tigers contains the Motto in Roman and Jawi script.

This person is a royal guard who is standing outside of Istana Negara's main gate.
He is a Malaysian army and does not move but, we can take pictures with him.
He stays in the box even though the weather is very hot.

Another guard is riding hourse and wearing red uniform.

Yellow is the royal colour. so the flag also has yellow colour.
If the flag is still in that position as a below picture, the king is in the palace.
If not, the king is in the outside of palace.

History of Istana Negara

Istana Negara is National Palace where the king of Malaysia lives in
and also uses for ceremonial occasions.
The place has also a very beautiful garden with many flowers.
There are 9 Sultans in Malaysia. One of them lives the palace for 5 years.
In the past, a local Chinese millionaire had owned the place originally.
and while the japanese occupation, the place used a Japanese officer's mess
After that, Government bought this placee in 1957 and converted into the palace for the sovereign.

If you are lucky, you can see the king who goes out.

We cannot go inside. so, you can just take pictuares outside. Perhaps you needs a nice camera.

KL life style (2nd story) - Chinese-Malay(Chinatown2)

What is your first impression when you hear the chinatown?
Active street or a lot of stuffs you can buy or various kinds of chinese food?
As time passes, the stores are getting open and the street is getting narrow.
But people gather more and more this chinatwon finally wake up.

At first, I found a lot of street stalls and small local restaurants in there.
Many tourists started to buy stuffs and negotiated the price~~
I heard some tips from my malaysian friends.
If the vendor calls the first price in there, you should prepare to negotiate some discount and continue to deal until you could get reasonable price.

You can find any brand cloths, bags, and accessories there.
As you know, there are imitations.
And those imitations have each grade level like grade A is the most similar to real one.
And you can taste some various food in there.
Also nice fruits and drinkings.
If you go there at night, you can really enjoy the people's life.
There are fabulous weather and various meal with cheap price.

Surprisingly~~
I found some pirate DVD from my country, Korea there.
I heard that some korean dramas are so popular now so there are many illegal copy around markets.
And these intellectural properties should be protected in anywhere, huh?
In my country, we have the same problem at this moment.
And our government is doing very harsh policy to the illegal stuffs now and I heard that Malaysia is also planning to start this policy as well.
Anyway,
I am a little bit happy because our drama is popular in here and hope to keep the license legally~~

KL life style (1st story) - Chinese-Malay(Chinatown1)

In my country, we have the chinatown, too.
It's really amazing to be the chinatown in anywhere.
And I a little bit understand why they made their own community because they wanted to prevent themselves from the prejudice, discrmination, or threatening.
We have Koreatown in LA in America and the reason why that was created is the same as the Chinatown.

When I visited the Chinatown at first, the impression is a little bit about being in China.
The signs were written in Chinese and every food and atmosphere is really similar to being inside China, huh?
Let me think~~~
I took some trips like England, Ireland, Austria, France etc and Chinatowns in there are actually similar.
I guess they want to preserve their own life style and culture they have kept so each Chinatown is almost same.

All right..
I got on the LRT to go there and the station which you have to get off is Pasar Seni which is just one station from KL Sentral station.
Actually the main chinatown is on the Petaling street.
And you can also visit the Central Market near there.

Watch the sign on the picture.
Petaling street is there.
And the sky blue roof is so outstanding then you can enjoy there even though the sun intends to burn you out :)
There are not too many people in the day, I think that many stores are open after the midday due to the weather and temperature.
So there is some space on the street but you can find a lot of product there such as purse, bag, cloths or any stuff~~
I recommend you should go there at night with fantastic active passion~~

KL life style (5th story) - Malaysian(Hari Raya1)

After one month this suffering period, Ramadhan, there is the massive festival celebration day comming.
This day is called Hari Raya or Hari Raya Puasa..
As you already know this period, muslims endure the starvation and anything inappropriate and then after this period, they celebrate everything at the last night of the Ramadhan period.
Everywhere is bright because they turn on the lights inside and outside their own houses. They believe angels will come to them so they prepare their visiting~~
It's so nice story and belief, huh?

As the Hari Raya is coming, the streets and buildings become more bright and sparkle so everyone expect that day is coming soon.
And they give some food and necessary stuff to the poors.
I guess that this can show the Islam spirit and mind.
They seem to be so proud of themselves who keep these rules in this period and celebrate everybody even with their king or boss.
I think even if you are not muslim, you can join this celebration with them and actually i was once invited by my friends and that open house was really brilliant and I still appreciate that.

Here is the tips.
This Hari Raya season is the most crowded traffic one.
I mean that they want to go to their hometown so every highway is so messy but the inside of the city is like empty~~

Do you know how many people believe Islam religion in the world?
Approximately 30% of the whole population....
If you are foreigners and from western area, you just know about the Catholic or Christian, huh?
But there are some popular religions in the East like Buddism..
And anybody can choose their own religion and get the respect from others.

Actually, I didn't know about the Islam religion and culture before I arrived here but I am so open minded and have no prejudice about any religion so at the first time I saw the beautiful robs and scarfs that muslim women have on in here, I wasn't so surprised and actually I really loved them..

When I started my study here and met the first Ramadhan period, I totally admitted that it was surprising and shocking because my muslim friends didn't eat anything at all during the day.
They seemed to be suffered from hunger and starving.
However, I heard the idea about the Ramadhan from them and really understood their mind and trust to the their religion.

Anyway, that is my first impression for Ramadhan period and I googled some information about that.
As the Islamic calender, 9th month is the Ramadhan period.
All muslim people cannot eat from the sunrising to sunset time and they cannot smoke, do something wrong, or even talk about inappropriate stuff.
The Ramadhan spirit is about people feel and experience starvation and they can remove the greed of their mind and devote themselves into GOD.
I think it's similar to Easter day of Christians.

Now I'm so curious at this case that people cannot act Ramadhan.
What will happen to them?
Because there are some international sports game in that period, huh?
If the national sports player cannot eat anything, how could they play the game?
I know these questions are useless..
It is a belief and faith towords their religion.
So it cannot be judged by any human being.

Sometimes, I really want to feel how deep GOD love us.
There are so many ugly things in the world.
Please, give some more glory and honor~~

KL life style (3rd story) - Malaysian(National Mosque2)

All right..
Now we should enter the inside..
But we should be careful about the manner or some regulations to keep, huh?
So I googled~~

And then I found some information about this.
-- Visitors should remove their shoes for entering and be respectably dressed, although special robes are provided for anyone without appropriate clothing. --
I think that means they can provide some cloths to enter the inside.
So I prepared some nice wearing, making myself at least exposure.
I already know, especially women should conceal their own body under the cloths in Islamic culture.
I know the weather is so hot and even though you are one of friendly and amicable foreigners, you should show your respect to them.
But don't worry about that.
If you see this picture below, you already realize that they rend some appropriate robs or cloths for you so you can wear and enter with enjoyment.

When you go inside, you can find this beautiful design patterns in there.
So amazing and so gorgeous.
It's like their deep attachment not like just devotion, you know what I mean?
Each pattern and color match is inspiring visitors.
Oh....
Taking pictures is allowed inside but you should be calm~~
Please don't make a noise~~

Somebady think the design in here is a little bit simple and not show-off.
But you should see the inside of the design..
I mean that this color and design with smooth light is so perfect.
Everyone can take some rest and get some nice spirit in here.

KL life style (2nd story) - Malaysian(National Mosque1)

I'm just falling in love with Islamic patterns~~
I know that I should learn Islam religion deeply first but this design continues to draw me and I cannot escape from that~~

So this time, I go to the this place, National Mosque.
I think that if you are catholic, I should visit the church first, huh?
And if you are buddist, I should go to the temple.
So I went to the most symbolic mosque in KL, the National Mosque.

I guess one of the most remarkable buildings in a city full of them is Malaysia's National Mosque.
The color match, white and fresh blue, is perfect and the Islamic shape on the building is so exotic and unique.

After taking three years to build this mosque opened on August 27th 1965 and it is located among five acres of beautiful gardens.
This building has a unique design and embodies a contemporary expression of traditional Islamic art, making it one of the most beautiful mosques in south-east Asia, I guess.

And the roof is so fantastic.
The shape is like the umbrella which symbolise the spirit and truth of the religion and Malaysia.
And I googled and found some more information about the roof.
This roof has 18 points - 13 for each of Malaysia's states and five to represent the tenets of Islam.

Before the entrance, I'm so inspired.
Every inch of this place is so great and spectacular.
So I can find some more knowledge about Malaysian life style in there and you can see and watch their devotion to their religion.

KL life style (1st story) - Malaysian(Islam Art Museum)

When I came in here, I decided to study Malaysian life style.
however, I came to know Malaysia has the main three race like native Malaysian, Chinese, and Indian.
I'm a little worried about writing the life style in here.
At first, my country is only one race country so we don't have any different race culture and we have learned that this unique feature is so great.
And secondly, we have some little bit different and unique life style in each area like North part or East part..
but I guess Malaysia will have different life style as each race so sometimes that is a little bit sensitive part and I decided not to judge that.
I really hope that anybody will inform me if you find something wrong.

This part is about native Malaysian.
So I realized that I should know the native history and their society or community activities.
I googled some information and got to know a variety of knowledge which really help me understand their life style and mind.

This posting is about the religion of Malaysian~~
It's so careful and controversial sector, I know.

My country give liberty of religion to people, which is same as Malaysia.
but I know Malaysia admits the main religion is Islam, huh?

I googled again and finally found this place, Islam Art Museum.
As you already know if you read my posting about Batik, I really love the design patterns of Islam culture.
So I thought I can see this perfect patterns and learn about the history of that.

All right.
If you have been in the National Mosque, you can find this Islam Art Museum.
You can walk from the National Mosque and get there.
Look at this beautiful building with remarkable patterns.
This place gives the model of Mosques in the world so you can enjoy the various shaped Mosque there.
And there are a lot of unique and exotic stuff displayed there such as knife, pictures, custume, or some accessories.

But most of all...
Just look at this outstanding patterns.
I just found my origin of my sense of beauty.
That is so detailed and close mathmatical array and perfect vivid color match..
How could they find this design pattern?
Who the heck are these people??
How much effort did they pour to create and develop this design and to praise their GOD.
That's so amazing and extremely gorgeous labour and belief.

If I have more time, I will go there again.
And enjoy their lives~~

Watching the 'Batik' deeply (2nd story)

As I already told you, the place is located between Bukit Bintang and Twin Towers.
I think this place is kind of wide and several workshops are there.
So if you go there, you can stop by the one of workshops and watch the professionals create the handcraft batik product there.

I think some diverse method exist as a Batik.
This guy was spreading the wax and press the frame which has different shape.
It's like a freestyle method, right?

They said wax is so hot so we should be careful~~
and at first I saw the cloth, the color is just simple and unspecial.
But they added some more shape and color and then this cloth was getting vivid and remarkable.
They were trying to show great job for tourists~~
That's awesome~~
They even explained how to use this cloth~~

They said that they're always satisfied with their work and each of their product exists only on in the world~~

I think that it's better to go here than to just go to the shopping mall or bars or somewhere.
Because you can see the traditional culture of Malaysia and if you buy this product, you can understand that and explain that to your friends or family~~

I'm so interested in this fabric dying method.
One time, I was going to study this area but you know, when the foreigners live in here, we should consider how we manage our life with our budget~~

Anyway, When I see this pattern, those are so attractive to me and I cann't resist this one will come to me~~

I think that this Batik is the traditional printing process in here.
So I just want to know this outstanding pattern and searched on the Internet.

When you step into the market, you can see this information center for visitors easily.
It's really helpful if we go there first, right?
I think many tourists go to this market so that place run this center for convenience to give visitors~~

It's time to go shopping~~
As I already told you, this market has many traditional product and souvenior to sell~~

This market has two floors.
The ground floor has many stores to sell their own unique product.
And second floor has some food corner for visitors to grab some bite~~

Nice kites, aren't they?
My country has the similar tradition to fly kites at the our traditional holiday.
Many kids love to fly them and sometimes do kite-fighting each other.
And some professional people show the flying skill with this kite and somebody links the kites one by one and fly them together~~
The kites I saw here are a little bit different from ours.
More coloful, diverse shape, and various size in here.

One of my favorite souvenior..
I just heard that this stuff was called ARCH.
But even though I searched it on the internet, I couldn't find the exact information about this.
I guess that these stuff was made of nice wood.
Because the smell of wood is so nice~~
And absolutely, those are handcraft so very sensitive and precise.
If you give this product to your friends, I'm sure that they are all happy~~

When you go upstairs, you can find food corner.
It can give you some relaxed time and you can have some simple food and nice drinking in there.

Central Market in KL (1st story) - location, history

If you were a foreigner, you would go there.
I think that this market is one of the most charming place in KL.
When I take a travel, I ususally visit the market because I can catch the real life and traditional, exotic style in there.

This Central Market is located at the North of the China Town~~
So you can just use LRT(It's like a subway) and get off at the Pasar Seni station.
It's easy to go there son you don't have to catch a taxi~~
Nice transportation, isn't it?

This market was built in 1888 by the British people when Malaysia was govern by the Britain.
My country has the same experience as Malaysia.
That reign of other countries always makes our own country get the trouble.
However Malaysia got over this period and my country did, too.

Anyway, at that time, this market was used for local people and tin miners to sell and buy product.
As the time passed, this market was extended and had this scale in 1933.
In 1985, this market was painted with beautiful colors and developed well.

Any country has their own Central Market and the first time I heard of Malaysia Central Market, I thought that that's just local market.
But this market is modern and well-organized~~
I can find some unique souvenir easily and get there by using public transportation much easier than other places~~

1. Pengirim is a sender in Malaysian language so you should fill out the name, address and postal code.

2. Penerima is a receiver in Malaysian language so you should fill out the name, address, and postal code as well.

3. Perkhidmatan is a service in Malaysian language so you should select the by air or by ship.

4. Keterangan Kandungan is a description of contents in Malaysian language so you should choose the your parcel is the product, present, sample, or papers.

5. Arahan pengirim sekiranya tidak dapat diserah means that if the parcel cannot be meet to the receiver, which service you want to use?

6. Pengakuan is a declaration in Malaysian language so you should write down your name and passport number.

Following the KL scene in 'Entrapment' (3rd story)

If you watched this movie 'Entrapment', you can remember the ending scene~~
Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones showed the perfect ending at this station.
'Pudu' LRT station~~

- PUDU station in the 'Entrapment' movie -

At first, I'm so interested in this 'Pudu' means.
And I think this word is from the Chinese word '埠頭' because I saw the River and that Chinese word pronunciation is similar to 'Pudu'.
Anyway, this station is called 'Pudu' and it's different from the view which I expected before.

When I saw the ending scene in the movie, this station seemed to be big and unique.
This place, however, is like normal and small one such as other stations~~
The scene is taped at other place just with 'Pudu' sign??
I don't know what happened but this experience reminded me of the beautiful ending scene~~

It's a little bit deplorable so I just visited the Pudu market which is near the this station.
I love to visit this kind of local market.
It's more lively and active~~
I can see the mind of Malaysian normal people and the life with real struggle~~

This tower allows us to enter by the bridge,
and if you want to go there, you should get the entrance ticket.
Okay here is the tip.
There are too many people to want to go there.
Because they are the most famous landmark in KL.
So you should have a plan to go up~~

First of all,
It's better way to go there on weekdays, not weekends.
As I already mentioned that, too many tourist are there waiting for the tickets.
So this is the one of the way to avoid the crowded~~

Second of all,
If you get a ticket which can allow you go there about 2~3 hours later, don't worry about that.
There are some nice places around there.
The outstanding fountain in front of the towers.
And Suria KLCC mall which is so nice shopping mall.

Anyway, if you are staying in any place, you should pay for some bills~

At first, when I get this bill, I'm so worried about how I can handle this~~
Because I didn't know the Malaysian system and where I should pay for or how I could calculate the amount of water I used~~

In addition, the bill said Malaysian language so I couldn't understand that~~
(Even I didn't know if this bill is water or others~~ lol
Because Malaysian language 'air' means water in English~~)

If you see this picture below, you can easily figure out some stuff like total amount to pay for~~
I think that 'jumlah bayaran' is total money to pay for this month, Am I right?
And the period is show the left side and the amount I used is next to the period~~

I think the water bill is kind of cheap here.
My country gives big payment if we use a little bit much water.
I used kind of much water in here but the bill is not expensive.
It's the gift to provide Malaysian people in here.
But we should think about the saving water for the future~~

(3rd story) Taste inside Kuala Lumpru - Ko Ryo Won

Sometimes, I really miss my country food~~
Especially, when I call my family or read the article which is involved in my country, I'm so eager to have my country dish~~

Recently, some huge hypermarkets sell the traditional my country food like kim-chi or several kinds of fruit.
That's not enough to fill in my passion for fantastic dish~~

So, I introduce this restaurant in KL.
I heard that there are some branches in KL.
Suria KLCC, Starhill, The Garden.......
Anyway, I usually go there and eat some missing our traditional food~~

I know the price is not cheap there.
Even though I'm Korean.
but some dish is not that bad.
I mean price is a little bit reasonable and there are enough side dish.
And the amount of food is nice~~

When we have dinner or lunch, we think that side dish is very important.
Because it can give us a variety of taste and options.
I think this restaurant provides the this variety fully~~

This food is called 'Bulgogi Bagban' and so famous in my country.
It's beef and the source is made of soysource, pear, sugar, sesame oil, garlic and onion.
You can have this food with steamed rice and side dish~~
It's so nice and price is not expensive~~

Traditional Wedding in KL (Menara Hap Seng)

Our country tourism organization and Gyeongsangbuk-do that is one of our country state showed the our traditional wedding ceremony in KL last Tursday.

It's very interesting show that might be able to make the new relationship between my country and Malaysia.

This wedding ceremony is kind of forgotten recently in my country.
Because this ceremony takes long time, it means our generation wants thier wedding ceremony more modern and a little bit shorter~~
But some big stars like actors or actresses sometimes do this ceremony~~

This a pair of wild goose is very important for ceremony.
This has the special meanings.
One is the endless love.
Second is the each other's proper manner.
Last is the huge reputation.

I'm so happy to see this ceremony in KL.
And curtural relationship is very significant bridge for two countries.
I hope this relationship is getting better~~

4th Chungnam Products Show in Kuala Lumpru

I'm so proud of this event.
Last day, the Chungnam, where is one of my country's state, Projects Show and Business Meeting took place in Istana hotel in Kuala Lumpru.
This is the 4th time since 2005 and this meeting is getting well between my country and Malaysia.

This event has show a variety of products in here.
and it can make each other's relationship better and better.

Chungnam officially said they can make contracts and they cost around 3.3million dollars.
Many Malaysian company are satisfied with reasonable price and high quality of products.

I think that this is the great sign to develop the communication and good friendship each other.
And I hope this event will take place more and more.

Another famous huge mall in KL.
It called Mid valley MegaMall.
And the Gardens is next to there and it's also huge and luxurious place.
I really like to go there.
not too crowded and very unique interior there.

And there are some nice super market where we can buy something to eat or use
like 'cold storage' or 'Jusco' etc..

I introduce this restaurant here.
This place actually belongs to the Gardens mall but you can find there easily
even though you go to the Mega mall.

This restaurant is so famous in some asian countries including my country.
Actually my country has four branches and many people can go enjoy food~~

This restarant is based on Taiwan and has a variety of dim sum and noodles.
So if you are a little bit tired while you are shopping in there and hungry,
just go eat some nice food.

First one is so tender and fantastic dim sum..
I love that and the taste is so so so great~~

Second is fried chicken with sour and sweet source.
If you like chinese food, you should have this food.
And you feel like you are in heaven.

If you are a foreigner like me, I guess you have already been in Suria KLCC.
because that place is the most famouse one in Malaysia.
The twin building is a landmark in KL.
And everyone in here admits this place is the outstanding one especially for foreigners.
You know, actually I'm so proud of this story.
One of the companies in my country constructed one of this twin buildings and I know another is built by a Japanese company.

When I went there at the first time, I was surprised at everything and every brand was there and too many foreigners were there.
So I thought I should be finding some unique and special stuff in there.

Taste~~
Nobody isn't interested in eating.
When you are in other countries and you find the familiar or remarkable food in there, you think you feel like this place is so nice and comfortable for you.
That's why I introduec the taste in KL in this posting~~

The first place is 'Little Penang'
I heard that this food is so great and the price is very resonable.
So I orderd three dishes with my other half.

First food is 'Prawn Mee'.
The taste is similar to one of ours so very familiar~~
Noodle is nice and soup is great. I recommend this and this is one of favorite of foreigners.

Second food is 'KuehTeow'.
This noodle is fried with the black source which, I think, is a little bit soy source. There are some seafood in there and tasty.

Final one is 'Cendol'
This is like desert. If you feel kind of unstable in your stomach after you eat this food, you should have this desert.
Your body becomes calm and fresh again.

Hanging around Kuala Lumpru - old town

Sometimes, we feel blue~~
especially, when it's raining or just no reason~~

Today is the day like that~~

So I go outside and hang around anywhere..

you know, it's sometimes so useful, I mean, when I hang around KL I can find some very special place or so popular place..

At first,
I just go to the Starbuks or Coffee bean to drink coffee.
Because those place is also popular in my country.
But when I hang around I find this Malaysia brand coffee house 'Old Town'

So nice and can use wifi service~~
and grab some bite with various food.

The most tasteful stuff is this.

White coffe..

I thought this white coffee had the white color~~
but it didn't.
So I searched some information about this.

Old Town White Coffee is blended with small aounts of beet-suger, and then moderately roasted with high temperatures with steamed milk and hot water added in just right.

so tasteful and so addicted flavor~~
Try and feel that~~

Here is "Putrajaya" (2nd story)

Okay~~
This is the 2nd posting about Putrajaya.

When I heard this city, I thought this city is far from the Kuala Lumpru.
But I noticed this city is located between KLIA and KL.
This means that we can go there anytime if you live close to KL.
And you should know about this.
The entrance of some popular buildings is just allowed until 5~6 pm.
So you should check the time before you go there.

I recommend you'd better avoid mid-day.
I mean the weather is so hot.
If you can go with cool weather and temperature, you can really enjoy the fantastic view and architecture with plenty of time.

Recently my country is planning the new government capital like Putrajaya.
But there are so many thing to solve.
And our president is hesitating this plan.

I think it's so terrific idea, right?
We can reduce the overcrowding population for the capital.
So we can remove some horrible traffic problem and provide proper stuff to the other cities harmoniously~~

Anyway, I really hope they can find out the answer for all people.
and I'm still enjoying this fantastic night view and kind people.
Come and feel the Malaysian mind~~

Eating out in Kuala Lumpur (jungle crab)

So hungry~~
extreamly starving~~

Okay~~
Let's eat out today~~

Sometimes, when I try some food in here, it's a little bit tough to eat~~
because Malaysia has own unique taste and I'm unfamiliar with that~~

but today, a friend of mine recommended this restaurant~~
and I really like the crabs~~

Okay at first, we should order rice, right?
you know? it's basic for dinner :)
We are all asian~~ hahaha~~
and this rice is fried and some strong taste vegitable on top of rice..
I'm sorry I can't eat that vegitable~~

Nice tender, great taste, not expensive~~
everything is awesome~~

I'm sure your mouth is watering now.. :)

Coconut is nice~~
Sometimes I feel that most of Malaysian eat something too sweet and especially they drink too much pepsi or soft drink~~
I'm so concerned about this sweet taste~~

Weather in KL (2nd story)

Here is my experience again~~
When I came here at first, I felt so hot and like I cannot breathe outside!!
because it's so hot hot hot~~

But my body has been getting used to this weather and I can enjoy the shade while I'm walking outside~~

And Whenever I see this cloudy weather,
Wow, it's like a gift from the God~~

- Look this beautiful cloud in the sky -

You know? This mind... this small decision to accept everything in here, makes me enjoyable and relaxed~~
Yes~~~ here is so hot to death~~
but very tiny, small sheer joy from each simple stuff can leave us the beautiful moment, huh?

Wow, this picture's driving me crazy not because it's bad to me, but because I can expect some cool and nice breeze~~
And definitely it will rain quickly~~

When it starts to rain, you should go inside and wait until it's not pouring~~
Look at that picture~~
Make you feel cool, huh??
And check the kind of car on the picture.
That's from the Malaysian brand which is called 'proton'.

Finally, the night comes to us and we can go outside without any umbrella to avoid the strong sunlight.
Nice lights from the building and more active people on the road..
Now we feel here is Malaysia~~

This picture is about the airconditioner as you already know..
Why I post this picture?
When you buy that, you should compare some brand and check the delivery and install fee, okay?
And if you rent a house and want to install that, please inform the landlord before buying that.
And then you can enjoy the perfect atmosphere in your house..

Weather in KL (1st story)

Hot Hot Hot!!
I searched weather of Malaysia on the Internet.
The average temperature is around 27℃.
My country has four season - spring, summer, fall, winter
So that temperature is like I've never experienced before.

Look at this sky in KL.

Nice Weather

And, what I felt is that ,from April to October, you should turn on the airconditioner all day long.
Of course, I think, you're concerned about the fee, right?
But if you fix the temperature around 27℃, it will be okay~~
And then how about November to March?
Absoultely, it still hot but sometimes you can feel a little bit chiily in the morning and evening.

Great Weather

I understand why most malaysian are addicted to the airconditioner.
Because it so hot to death so everyone in here always is turning on that.
Here is the example~~
When I take a class, one of lecturers is always turning on that strongly even though some malaysian classmates also feel chilly.
Can you imaging how I endure in there?
I put on the winter jacket~~
It means if you're from the countries like me, you should prepare the jacket or jumper or something.

Look at this sky~~

Sometimes, it rains, it pours~~
If you find the cloud on the picture above, you should wait inside the building.
It's a downpour, you know?
You can say that you have an umbrella.
I'm sure that it's the same as no umbrella~~

Here is the tip~~
If you are on the sidewalk when it's raining, you should be careful the cars, buses or something because they don't care about you so you can have some experiences like taking a shower~~
Or watch out some puddles on the road~~

Whenever I meet this rain, I feel it clean me and can have this mind which makes me fresh and active~~

Lake Garden in KL (2nd story)

Let's go to the Bird Park now~~
As I posted the 1st story a few days ago, you can find some special park around the Lake Garden here~~
Bird Park is one of them~~
This park has the world's largest walk-in free flight aviary.
So at this moment, we can see this fantastic place~~
if it's a little bit of cooler~~ hahaha!!

KL Bird Park

The Entrance : RM 39

This is the largest bird park over the world and the 90 percent of the birds in here live in Malaysia. isn't it surprised?? I don't think so, because there are so many jungle in Malaysia. It means that we can see various birds anywhere in Malaysia. It's so nice~~

And there is the gift shop and kiosk in here so we can get some relax if we are tired due to the strong sunlight~~

The Ticket Taxi station

It's so great~~ I found the taxi station here with ticket..
You know what? Foreigner are sometimes worried about the taxi..
Because there are so many rip-off..
But if we find ticket taxi station, we can be relieved..

The Butterfly Park

Wow, another park in here..
You can find here if you go down a little bit from the Bird Park.
Wanna see the butterflies?
Go inside~~

The Hibiscus Garden

The Hibiscus flower

Hibiscus Garden has many varieties of hibiscus. The locals called it "Bunga Raya".
The Entrance fee is only RM 1.
We can enjoy a variety of hibiscus in here.
Look at the pictures above.
Each kind of hibiscus is so nice and beautiful.

This place helps lead me to relaxing and calming.
If you visit here when the weather is not sunny, I think you can feel much more excited and interested because you can walk more freely without exhausting your body..
I really hope that you can get some remarkable impression from here..

Lake Garden in KL (1st story)

There are some unique theme park per each country.
Like central park in New York..

Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia has also the outstanding park called Lake Garden.
It is also known as Taman Tasik Perdana.(probable malaysian language, right?)

-on the way to the lake garden, isn't it nice?-

It provides a massive area for citizens who need to get some rest from the routine and work of their life.
The location is next to the National Mosque so you can find it easily.
But here is the tip for you~~
Most people go there in the evening 'cause it's usually so hot like a oven in the afternoon.
If you enjoy the hot temperature, it doesn't matter to go there during the mid-day.

I heard that this park was officially opened on May 1, 1975 by the second Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Haji Abdul Razak Hussein.
The park has an area of approximately 92 hectares.(so huge~~)

-some places to get a drink-

And there are some special park inside the lake garden.

Orchid Garden has a varieties of 800 species of orchids.
Hibiscus Garden has many varieties of hibiscus. The locals called it "Bunga Raya".
KL Butterfly Park has more than 6,000 butterflies with over 120 species.
KL Bird Park has the world's largest walk-in free flight aviary.
Boathouse has facility for an hour or so of family boating on the lake.
Deer Park has many spotted deer from Holland. Feeding is allowed.

The Perhentian Island Backpacking (2nd story) - transportation

I backpacked there on July last year.
It was the busiet time to take a trip and at that time I just got one week break.
I know backpacking to the Perhentian Island seems impossible without any reservation for accommodation and transfortation.
But you know, no pain and no gain :)
In addition, my other half is always with me.

How about this?
you should join this trip now, huh?

I was so stupid, do you know why?, I went to the terminal on Friday.
Friday is busy all the time even if it's not holiday season.
I used KTM train to go to the putra bus terminal.
When I arrived there, it was around 6 p.m.
Even though I'm unfamiliar with Malaysia, I already noticed there would be no tickets there.
So I just thought that I would go there the next day or went back to the train station.

Just after I got off the train, I could find the hentian putra bus terminal.
A lot of buses were on the both side the road. That's why I found there easily.

Okay. Let's go inside the terminal.
Please, the ticket's left there, please again~~
As soon as I enter the terminal, he came to me so I asked about the ticket for kuala besut. And he said "No" but there was a ticket to go to jerteh and it cost RM45.
I was suspicious of the rip-off so I asked the counter about the ticket and he told me that they were sold out already.
So I didn't have any option at that time and it was finally time to go there~~

jerteh is my destination and cost is RM45.
The departure time is 9:00 p.m.
They said that it would take for around 9hours.
So I could arrived around 6 a.m. the next day.
I thought if I arrived 6 a.m., I could go to kuala besut at 7 a.m. and I could get on the first boat to go to the Perhentian Island.
So I got 3 hours free time:)
I went to the mall located next to the terminal and went downstairs to grab a bite.

I ate dinner at the restraunt on the picture above.

It's very simple bento box, huh?
It's around RM15~20 with one ice lemon tea.

According to my research, it's really tough to get water on the Perhentian Island so I bought that and some cookie.
As I've experienced, it's very priceless to bring some food especially when we backpack on the island which has few stores or place to eat.
Don't forget this.
Okay..
There was no seat number so I had to hurry up to take a nice seat.
And the bus was not quite good and departed around 10 p.m. (oh my god)
Anyway I fell a sleep.

The Perhentian Island Backpacking (1st story)

This article is about my first backpacking in Malaysia~~
And you know what, backpacking is so attractive and challegeable
but this time is a little tough~~ 'cause i'm getting old :)
Actually, i used the bus to go there (night bus - i slept in the bus)
and my accomodation is not good.
So i couldn't get some enough relax
but this island is the most beautiful all over the world~~
When i step into the sea, just 5 steps, i could see various kinds of fish and coral~~
Can you imagine that??
i already have some experience of fantastic islands like Cocoroco in Philippine
but here is the better place than Philippine~~
However, i decide that i really need 'relax trip' not like youngsters.

Why i'm writing this down at this moment.
This island... you should go there if you are in Malaysia~~
You can find the perfect sea and beach..
You can be snorkeling any point in there.
That's because every point in there is just perfect..

Okay~~
Now we start~~
We should go to the east coast in summer, you know why?
In winter, most of island can't open the accomodation 'cause this is the monsoon season.
If you go here in summer, you can see the beautiful beach and see so you can choose the direction according to the season (summer-east, winter-west)

If you see this map(above), you can see the 'south china sea' and that coast is the east side and the Perhentian Island is located between kuala terengganu and kota bharu.

This picture(above) is showing the just Terengganu area and you can find the k.besut which is actually small town. And the island is just down that town on the picture.
If you wanna go another beautiful island 'Redang', you can go to the 'Merang'(a little more down) and you can get on the boat to enter that island.

If you get on the boat in the k.besut town, you can finally go there.
The left island is called just small and right is big~~
And can you see the number 9. D'Lagoon~~
There it is~~ That place is my destination~~

Here is "Putrajaya" (1st story)

This posting is about Putrajaya.
I've seached some information on the Internet and from the books.
And I've been there before taking some pictures and signtseeing.
Now I come to know Putrajaya is the most important place and has the crucial rules.
So I want to introduce this place as the view of one of international students.

Putrajaya is Malaysia's third and latest Federal Territory.
And It is located around 25km from Kuala Lumpur and 20km from KLIA.
I heard that 'putra' is from the first malaysia minister's name 'Almarhum Tunku Abdul Rahman PutraAlHaj' and 'jaya' means the success.
According to the final master plan, this city will have more development and progressive infrastructure.

Putrajaya is planned as the intelligent and garden city.
When they started to build this place, they've prepared how significant the environment is in this area so now everybody can enjoy the beautiful part, lake and fresh air~~

The pictures are showing the 'Perdana Putra' which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister office complex.
That's so nice building, isn't it?

And this building on the pictures above is the 'Putra Mosque' which is Putrajaya's most spectacular landmark and one of the most modern mosques in the world.
I love that pattern, that's so wonderful~~

Really a nice and modern birdge.

This area is so calm and relaxed.
You can breathe fresh air and your eyes are so enjoyable due to the fantastic designed city with nice surroundings~~
Next time, I'll study the history of putrajaya and introduce that~~
